An Oxford & Cambridge English Language Event 2009 ( held at Sunway University College)

Well, about 37 students from my school went to Sunway College to give support to the contestants from KK for public speaking and essay writing competition. We was also given a talk about effective writing skills and effective oral communication skills. The lectures were Mike Disney and Emma Davidson respectively. We arrived at Sunway at around 7.45am and we were sitted in the Multi-Purpose Hall. 15 schools came for this event . And 3 schools are from Ipoh! After all the school arrived, the essay writing contestants proceeded to the competition venue. And we the supporters witnessed The final Public Speaking Competition, only 6 finalists.. And Nirmal was representing our school. All of them did great. Then we went for the campus tour. They showed us the library, cafeteria, computer lab. After that, we took our lunch. Gosh! The food was tasteless! But all of us was so hungry that we just ate it. And lastly the moment we were all waiting for PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY! haha.. Nirmal got a consolation prize. The contestants who took part in the essay writing competition were Su Yin, Wei Lin and another guy (dunno his name) but they didn't win any prize. And non of the Ipoh school won. Pity them as they came all the way from there. Anyway , it was really fun. Enjoyed it. =)
